Abstract.
We consider a Toda system, namely a coupled system of singular Liouville equations defined on acompact surface, which is motivated by the study of models in non-abelian Chern-Simons theory. We will present the known results and a general existence result based on variational methods and Moser-Trudinger inequalities. This is a joint work with L. Battaglia, A. Malchiodi and D. Ruiz.
