Abstract.
We present some results on Bott-Chern cohomology of compact complex manifolds and on the existence of special metrics on non-Kähler manifolds. The Chern-Ricci form of a Hermitian metric representing a class in Bott-Chern cohomology, special geometry is in a sense related to cohomological properties. More precisely, we will investigate an analogue of the Yamabe problem for Hermitian metrics with Chern connection.
