Abstract.
We discuss generalizations of Gromov’s main inequality which states an inequality between Riemannian and simplicial volume under a lower curvature Ricci curvature bound. According to Gromov one might be able to replace Ricci by scalar curvature. We report on work in this direction. Joint work with Sabine Braun.
