Abstract.
I will describe how the study of the Hilbert function of finite subsets of the complex projective space provides information on the identifiability of symmetric tensors, even beyond the range of applicability of Kruskal's criterion (joint works with Luca Chiantini, Andrea Mazzon, Nick Vannieuwenhoven).
