Postdocs in Prague

Applications are invited for postdoctoral positions within a research project "Homotopy and Homology Methods and Tools Related to Mathematical Physics" funded by the Czech Science Foundation during the academic year 2019/2020 starting at the date depending on a mutual agreement. The positions are initially for one year with a possibility of extension. Successful candidates will be based at the Mathematical Institute of Charles University, Prague. The brut salary is 44 000 CZK per month.

Applicants are expected to have research experience in algebra, geometry or mathematical physics closely related to the research interests of members of the geometry group (Roman Golovko, Branislav Jurco, Martin Markl, Peter Somberg and Vladimir Soucek). Candidates must be recent PhD's and should submit a letter of application accompanied by a CV, list of publications and an outline of their research project not later than March 15, 2019 by e-mail to branislav.jurco(AT)mff.cuni.cz (with a copy to soucek(AT)karlin.mff.cuni.cz). Two letters of recommendation should be sent directly to the same e-mail addresses before March 15, 2019. Successful applicants will be notified as soon as possible but not later than April 30, 2019.
