Postdoc position at FU Berlin (full research position)

The Discrete Geometry Group in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Freie Universität in Germany is looking for a post-doctoral candidate to support the research of Project A03 ‘Geometric Constraints on Polytopes’. The project is part of the collaborative research centre SFB/TRR 109 ‘Discretization in Geometry and Dynamics’ (http://www.discretization.de) funded by DFG. The objective of Project A03 is to study the interaction between geometric properties of convex polytopes and their combinatorial data.

The applicant should have a PhD in mathematics and should possess solid skills and research experience relevant for the project (discrete geometry with further connections to Geometry/Discrete Mathematics/Topology/Numerics). Willingness to collaborate and to work in a team. Programming experience is an asset.
