Three-years post-doc positions at University of Edinburgh

The University of Edinburgh is currently advertising a number of post-doc positions, three of which may be of interest to algebraic geometers (one open to all of mathematics, and two advertised for areas close to algebraic geometry). All of them are 3-year positions, and we encourage informal inquiries about each of them.

1. The Seggie-Brown Research Fellowship

This fellowship is open to all area of Mathematics.

Start date no later than September 1. Closing date is December 8, informal inquiries to Iain Gordon (igordong@ed.ac.uk) or to any faculty member in your area of interest.

2. Postdoctoral Researcher in Pure Mathematics: Moduli Techniques in Graded Ring Theory

This position is advertised for "Noncommutative Ring Theory and associated areas". It is funded from the EPSRC grant "Moduli Techniques in Graded Ring Theory" of Dr. Susan Sierra.

3. Postdoctoral Researcher in Representation Theory

This is for candidates with a track record in represention theory and related areas, to work with Professor Iain Gordon.
