Dear Colleagues,
at the IMAG department of Montpellier we are opening a position of Maître de Conférences (assistant/associate professor) in pure mathematics. Candidates in algebraic geometry are particularly encouraged.
The starting salary depends on the experience of the chosen candidate, a junior candidate can expect inside the range 30-35k euros. The winning candidate is expected to teach at all levels both to mathematics students and students from other affine disciplines at the faculty of Sciences or Engineering. The teaching (and the interview) is to be held in French, so a minimum level is required.
The deadline for the submission of applications is March the 29th and applications are open from February the 22nd, but in order to apply you must have the French qualification.
