The Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Leibniz Universitaet Hannover invites applications for a Professorship in Pure Mathematics (W2) to be appointed as soon as possible. The position is limited to five years.
Candidates should be internationally recognized in a timely and central area of pure mathematics.
Their research profile is expected to complement the existing mathematical topics and to further cooperation.
On the position it will be the responsibility to represent the field both in research and teaching; this includes an adequate participation in the undergraduate mathematics education of students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics as well as of students of other faculties.
