For the latter I am looking for someone sheafy (and coherent) to work on aspects of Vafa-Witten theory.
Depending on the expertise of the candidate, this will involve some of the following topics: enumerative invariants (cohomological or K-theoretic) in algebraic geometry, the geometry or geometric representation theory of Hilbert schemes of points on surfaces, the study of coherent sheaves – and their derived categories – on algebraic varieties, deformation theory of sheaves and virtual fundamental classes, derived algebraic geometry, wall crossing formulae, virtual localisation calculations.
