The Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science (Institute of Mathematics) at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt welcomes applications for the following full-time position, starting on January 1st, 2018:
Professorship (W1) for Number Theory
We aim to recruit a candidate with a research profile complementing our
activities in the LOEWE research area
"Uniformized Structures in Arithmetic and Geometry".
Candidates must have an internationally well-noticed publication track
record, for instance in one of the following areas of research:
dynamical systems, moduli spaces and arithmetic geometry.
The position comes with appropriate administrative and teaching obligations within the Institute of Mathematics. The initial appointment as Assistant Professor is for three years.
