A Postdoc position is available within Vladimir Lazić's DFG Emmy Noether research group "Gute Strukturen in der höherdimensionalen birationalen Geometrie" at the University of Saarland. Potential candidates should have PhD in algebraic geometry and should have demonstrated expertise in birational geometry and the Minimal Model Program and/or the (birational) geometry of Calabi-Yau varieties. The starting date is in the Autumn 2017 or soon thereafter and the duration of the position is one year.
