Applications are invited for a full-time Postdoctoral Research Associate position to work with Dr Jonny Evans on the EPSRC-funded project "Singularities and symplectic topology". The project focuses on using symplectic topology and Floer theory to tackle questions from algebraic geometry. The responsibilities of the post will include: carrying out vigorous, high-level research in symplectic topology, submitting publications regularly to arXiv and to refereed journals; participating in local seminars and in national and international conferences. The post is funded for three years in the first instance.
