The Algebraic Geometry group in BCAM is offering two 1+1 years postdoc position in Pure and Applied Algebraic Geometry.
The group is leaded by J. Fernandez de Bobadilla, and at the moment consists in 5-6 postdocs and 4 Ph.D- students working in several areas of Algebraic Geometry and Singularities (surface singularities, degeneration of varieties, motivic integration, arc spaces and valuations, and topology of algebraic varieties and singularities). We are seeking to enlarge our group with two more postdocs, one on the theoretical side of algebraic geometry and singularities (although an interest in applications is welcome), and one in Applied Algebraic Geometry, as it is described in http://www.siam.org/activity/ag/
