Lectureship in mathematical physics in Zurich

The Institute of Mathematics of the University of Zurich invites applications for a position of Lecturer in Mathematics The lectureship is sponsored by the National Center of Competence in Research (NCCR) SwissMAP of the Swiss National Science Foundation and is open to researchers in mathematical physics, in a very broad sense, possessing a PhD degree. The lectureship, beginning September 1st, 2017 (negotiable), is awarded for a period of three years. The Institute offers a stimulating research environment and excellent working conditions. The successful candidate will already have shown exceptional promise in research. The University of Zurich is an equal opportunity employer. Duties of lecturers include research and teaching. The moderate teaching load leaves ample room for further professional development. Lecturers can be allowed to supervise PhD students.
