A post-doctoral research position is offered by the project "Algebraic Geometry: Varieties and Structure" financed by the Polish National Science Center; principal investigators Adrian Langer and Jaroslaw Wisniewski (director).
The successful candidate will be hired for 10 or 12 months as a research fellow ("adiunkt naukowy", no teaching duties) at the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics, the University of Warsaw. The starting date is September 1, or October 1, 2017. The expected monthly salary will be within the range 4.700PLN through 5.000PLN, before taxes, depending on the experience of the candidate.
