The Mathematics department offers 9 doctoral fellowships for three years. It also offers 3 positions without financial support.
The selection of candidates for the Ph.D. program is done by public competition. A Laurea Specialistica-Magistrale, i.e., a Master degree, is needed to participate to the selection process. Students who will graduate by October 31, 2016 will also be admitted to the selection process. Holders of degrees obtained abroad and comparable to a Laurea Specialistica-Magistrale will also be considered.
