1 Postdoc position
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellowship in Geometric group theory.
Research keywords: Gromov's hyperbolic groups, relatively and lacunary hyperbolic groups, residually finite groups, coarse amenability and coarse embeddings, random groups, sofic and hyperlinear groups.
The position is available initially for 1 year with a possible extension for up to 6 months in total, starting on October 1, 2016 (or soon after). There is no teaching load. Applicants for the postdoc position should have recently obtained or expect to receive a PhD in mathematics, and should demonstrate excellent potential in research and teaching in Geometric group theory.
