Three Postdoctoral Positions in Algebraic Geometry
Applications are invited for three postdoctoral positions in algebraic geometry as part of a joint project between Imperial College London (Corti and Coates), Cambrige (Gross) and Warwick (Reid)
Start date: 1 October 2016
Term: 24 months with possible extension to 36 months
More details: the positions will be based at {Cambridge, Imperial, Warwick}, with the first 12 months seconded to {Warwick, Cambridge, Imperial} respectively. Applicants should have:
- a PhD in a subject close to algebraic geometry, or equivalent level of professional qualifications and experience;
- a demonstrable research track record in algebraic geometry or a related discipline;
- experience of working in one or more of the following areas: explicit constructions in algebraic geometry; toric or tropical geometry; mirror symmetry, including the Gross-Siebert program.
