Deadline: 30 sep 2026
We invite expressions of interest for an anticipated four-year predoctoral position within the project “Bridging Analysis & Geometry via Variational Models (BRIDGE)”, led by Esther Cabezas-Rivas and Salvador Moll.
The PhD project will focus on geometric analysis and nonlinear PDEs, particularly anisotropic and crystalline curvature flows under weak regularity assumptions. Related topics may include inverse mean curvature flow, geometric inequalities, variational methods, total variation energies, and PDEs with linear growth.
Candidates should have a Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field, a strong mathematical background, and an interest in PDEs, calculus of variations, geometric analysis, differential geometry, or geometric flows.
Interested candidates may send:
• a CV;
• an academic transcript;
• a brief statement of research interests and motivation.
Candidates who submit an expression of interest will be kept informed of the official call and application deadlines.
