Two postdoctoral positions are open within the project “Chow Ring of Toric Arrangements” at the University of Bologna. Each position has a duration of two years, with a gross salary of €39,000 per year. Bologna offers a high quality of life with a relatively moderate cost of living. Over the next three years, the research group on toric arrangements will expand significantly, with the recruitment of ten new researchers. The group currently includes Prof. Luca Moci, Prof. Giovanni Paolini, and Prof. Roberto Pagaria.

The application deadline is June 7th, and the expected starting date is Fall 2026, with some flexibility.
As a formal eligibility requirement, candidates must have obtained their Master’s degree no more than six years prior to the application deadline. For candidates who earned a PhD without a Master’s degree, the six-year period is counted from the date of the PhD.
