Dear colleagues,
The Epijournal de Géométrie Algébrique in association with the French learned societies SMF, SMAI and SFdS are proud to announce the 2026 edition of the
Jean-Pierre Demailly Prize for Open Science in Mathematics.
The Demailly Prize rewards a project that contributes to open science in the field of mathematics, either in terms of scientific publishing, collaborations between mathematicians or free software in mathematics. The aim of the prize is to highlight the importance of these topics. It focuses on contributions that benefit the scientific community as a whole, rather than individual achievements.
The application deadline is 8 March 2026.
More information about the Demailly Prize (how to apply, selection criteria and composition of the jury) can be found here: https://epiga.episciences.org/page/demailly-prize# .
The 2024 Demailly Prize was awarded to zbMath Open (https://epiga.episciences.org/page/session-2024).
The Demailly prize will be awarded to the winning projet during a SMAI conference http://smai.emath.fr/spip.php?rubrique39&lang=fr 1–5, June 2026.
Best regards,
Gianluca Pacienza (for the organizing committee)
