Dear Colleagues,
The Department of Mathematics of Bologna is opening a tenure-track position (up to 6 years) in Algebra. The duration of the tenure track position can be shortened (up to 3 years) if the successful candidate held postdoc positions or researcher positions in Italy. After the final year, the position will be transformed into a permanent one (Associate Professor).
The teaching load is only 60 hours per year, usually in Italian, in the nearby town of Cesena.
The University of Bologna is the most ancient in Europe, and renowned as one of the best universities in Italy. The city offers a wide number of cultural activities, excellent welfare and a very high quality of life.
