The Department of Mathematics, Computer Science and Physics at the
University
of Udine, Italy, invites applications for fully-funded 5+1 PhD-positions
of 3
years each. Candidates interested in a PhD-Thesis on Number Theory and/or
Algebraic Geometry are welcome to apply. Possible arguments are
- Integers point on algebraic varieties
- Birational Geometry and Moduli spaces of curves
- Berkovich spaces, Newton Okounkov bodies and Tropical geometry:
Interconnections
- Lefschetz properties in Algebraic Geometry and Commutative Algebra.
