We are looking for someone with a broad Algebra or Operator Algebra training. The applicant is expected to work on areas related to the project of Roozbeh Hazrat “Graded symmetry in Algebra and Analysis”, in particular, the structure of combinatorial algebras, such as Leavitt paths algebras and invariants for their classifications. These algebras have appeared in a variety of different contexts as diverse as analysis, symbolic dynamics, noncommutative geometry, and representation theory.
The external principal collaborators in the project are Prof. Søren Eilers (Copenhagen) and Ben Steinberg (New York).
