The Mathematics department offers 9 doctoral fellowships for three years. It also offers 2 positions without financial support.
To gain entrance to the Ph.D. program, students must possess a Laurea Specialistica or Magistrale, i.e. a Master degree. Studies carried out abroad and that have led to a degree comparable to a Laurea Specialistica or Magistrale will also be considered. The selection of candidates for the Ph.D. program is done by public competition. Students who plan to graduate by October 31, 2015 will also be admitted to the competition. The 2015 Call for applications is now open and will close on July 24, 2015.
