Dear Colleagues,
I would like to advertise an open call for early career postdoc positions at IMPAN (Institute of Mathematics of Polish Academy of Sciences). These are available to researchers up to 2 years after PhD (plus possible extensions for a parental leave) in all branches of mathematics, including algebraic geometry and come with no teaching obligations. Our (broadly understood) algebraic geometry group is fairly strong, see https://www.impan.pl/en/insitute/structure/departments#galg .
In addition, the institute closely collaborates with Faculty of Mathematics, Computer Science and Mechanics of University of Warsaw (MIMUW, https://www.mimuw.edu.pl/en ). In particular, algebraic geometers from IMPAN often collaborate with algebraic geometers from MIMUW.

The positions are quite flexible in terms of starting date and also the location (within Poland), as the Institute has its branches in a couple of major cities across the country (currently, all algebraic geometers from IMPAN are in Warsaw and Kraków).
