Dear colleagues,
the University of Padova (Italy) has started a very competitive doctoral programme reserved to international applicants, in the framework of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action COFUND:

The PhD candidates in the UNIPhD programme are considered as early stage researchers, which results in particularly attractive conditions, also from a financial point of view. The programme is international and intersectoral in nature and includes funding for a long stay abroad during the PhD project.
One of the proposed research topics is on Arithmetic and Complex Algebraic Geometry. Potential supervisors in Padova include Remke Kloosterman, Matteo Longo, Ernesto Mistretta, Paolo Rossi and myself (see http://docenti.math.unipd.it/geometria/people).
The deadline for application is March 8th, 2022 at 1pm (CET).
