SISSA (International School for Advanced Studies), located in Trieste, is advertising a post-doctoral position in geometric structures on manifolds and low-dimensional topology. This is a two-year position that can be extended for one more year.
Candidates with expertise in the areas of low-dimensional topology, 4-manifolds, knotted surfaces, generalized complex geometry, symplectic geometry and metrics with lower curvature bounds are particlarly encouraged to apply.
