This is a message to advertise the call for one position in Roma (Italy) with the following features:
Position: Assegno di Ricerca, which is the equivalent of a post-doc position.
Degree required at the moment of application: Master’s degree (but PhD will be considered an asset).
Institution: Dipartimento di Matematica “Guido Castelnuovo”, SAPIENZA Università di Roma (https://www.mat.uniroma1.it/).
Field: Mathematics and its applications.
Duration: 2 years.
Estimated gross salary: 22.600 EUR per year (which corresponds to a net wage of about 1650 EUR per month).
Teaching load: no teaching duties.
Expected starting: Summer/Autumn 2022.

This is similar to the previous one, but this time the duration is 1 year, and the estimated gross salary will be 19.367 EUR per year (which corresponds to a net wage of about 1450 EUR per month).
As an aside, let me stress that Roma has three Mathematics departments, each of which with a conspicuous research group in algebra and geometry.
