Dear Colleagues,
A position as a tenure-track assistant professor (Ricercatore a Tempo Determinato di Tipo B) at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Pisa is now open. The position is in the area of Geometry, considered in a broad sense, including algebraic, differential, complex analytic geometry, topology, dynamical systems, etc: you may find the description of the research directions of the geometry group at http://www.dm.unipi.it/webnew/en/ricerca/geometry-mat03
The deadline to apply is July 26, 2021. This position lasts 3 years. The teaching load is around 80 hours/year.
At the end of this position, one goes through a tenure review: provided that the Italian Scientific Qualification (https://abilitazione.miur.it/public/index.php?lang=eng) has been obtained before the review, one should obtain a permanent position as an associate professor.
