Tenure track position in Roma

Dear all,

This is a message to advertise the call for one position in Roma (Italy) with the following features:

Position: RTDB (=“Ricercatore a tempo determinato di tipo B”), which is a tenure track (see https://academicpositions.com/career-advice/italian-academic-job-titles for more information).
Institution: Dipartimento di Matematica “Guido Castelnuovo”, SAPIENZA Università di Roma (https://www.mat.uniroma1.it/).
Field: Algebra and Geometry.
Duration: 3 years; after this period the researcher can be, and is usually, promoted to Professore Associato (=Associate Professor) with tenure, upon completion of the Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale (=National Scientific Qualification).
Estimated net salary: about 1.850 EUR per month; many benefits are included, such as national health insurance, thirteen months of salary, contributions towards pension and retirement settlement.
Minimum teaching load: 72 hours per year (in Italian).
Qualification required at the moment of the application: at least 3 years of post-doctoral experience; the “Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale” to exercising functions as professore associato is not required but strongly recommended.
Deadline to apply: February 7th, 2021.
Expected starting: Summer/Autumn 2021.
