The ICMAT (Instituto de Ciencias Matemáticas https://www.icmat.es/) opens an Associated Researcher position in Mathematics.
The ICMAT is an excellence research center in Mathematics located in Madrid (Spain). It is a joint center belonging to the CSIC (Spanish Science Council) and three universities of Madrid (UAM, UCM and UC3).
The position is a pure research position as a civil servant of the CSIC and is a permanent position. It has no mandatory teaching duties although teaching advanced courses in one of the universities and having graduate students is encouraged.
Being a position of civil servant in Spain, it is open to all EU citizens and follows the recruitment procedures of Spanish civil servants including an open competition that can be performed in Spanish or English.
