We are offering a one year non renewable post doc position at the university of Brest (UBO) in western Brittany, France, at the laboratory of mathematics (LMBA). The main topic is asymptotic analysis in general relativity with a preferred orientation towards conformal methods. Applicants from both mathematics and physics are welcome, with an expected strong background in at least one of the following fields: general relativity, differential and conformal geometry, analysis of PDEs. Net salary is 2250 euros per month, as a salary, it is subject to income tax. This is a pure research position, no teaching duty will be expected of the successful applicant.
Starting date is the 1st of September 2015 but may be postponed until no later than the 1st of January 2016.
