Two Assistant Professor Positions
Department of Mathematics Jagiellonian University Krakow, Poland
There are two Assistant Professor/postdoc positions available at Jagiallonian University, Krakow, Poland. These is a four year positions, starting between September 2019 and January 2020.
The candidates will work on the NAWA Foundation grant Powroty ”Applications of Lie algebras to Commutative Algebra” directed by Prof. Jerzy Weyman. One position (POSTDOC 1) is for candidates in Representation of Artin Algebras/ Representations of Algebraic Groups. The second position (POSTDOC 2) is for candidates in Commutative Algebra/Algebraic Geometry.
The candidates should have the following qualifications:
• Ph.D. degree in mathematics,
• substantial publication record,
• very good record of mathematical activities (participation
in conferences and workshops),
• very good command of English.
