The Institute of Geometry at Graz University of Technology offers a postdoc position, starting in July 2019 or later. The position is funded by the FWF project "Algorithms for Topological Data Analysis" - see http://www.geometrie.tugraz.at/kerber/algtda.php for project details. The position is for one year, with the option to extend to a second year.
The ideal applicant has completed a PhD thesis in computational topology/geometry or a related area and has demonstrated scientific excellence through internationally peer-reviewed publications. Moreover, experience in theoretical computer science and algorithm engineering is a plus.
