Dynamical Aspects of Pseudo-Riemannian Geometry
Universidade do Minho, Braga, Portugal
2-6 of March 2020
FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT

The conference Dynamical Aspects of Pseudo-Riemannian Geometry (DAPRG 2020) will take place at the University of Minho (Braga, Portugal) from the 2nd to the 6th of March 2020.

The meeting will focus on recent progress in Pseudo-Riemannian geometry, in particular, in Lorentzian geometry. One of the main goals is to bring together geometers and specialists in dynamical systems while promoting the exchange of ideas and exploring the interventioninteraction of dynamical systems in Pseudo-Riemannian geometry.

The participation of young researchers is strongly encouraged so please disseminate this message among your students and other colleagues who might be interested in the meeting.

The conference will feature three mini-courses:

Geometry and dynamics of spatially homogeneous spacetimes by François Béguin (U. Paris 13, France) Quantization and Kahler geometry by João Pimentel Nunes (IST - U. Lisbon, Portugal) Configuration spaces: geometry, topology, dynamics, physics and technology by Abdelghani Zeghib (CNRS, ENS-Lyon, France) Invited speakers will include the following:

Ilka Agricola (U. Marburg, Germany)
Thierry Barbot (U. Avignon, France)
Alexey Bolsinov (U. Loughborough, UK)
Marie-Amelie Lawn (Imperial College London, UK)
Daniel Monclair (U. Paris-Sud, France)
Miguel Sanchez (U. Granada, Spain)
Andrea Seppi (U. Grenoble, France)
Peter Smillie (Caltech PMA, USA)
Andrea Tamburelli (U. Rice, USA)
Jeremy Toulisse (U. Nice, France)
Further information about the meeting, registration procedure, location and other details can be found on the conference website:
