14th INTERNATIONAL YOUNG RESEARCHERS WORKSHOP ON GEOMETRY, MECHANICS AND CONTROL
Göttingen,Germany
16-18 December, 2019

First Announcement

—————————————————————

Dear colleagues,

We would like to invite you to participate in the 14th International Young Researchers Workshop on Geometry, Mechanics and Control, which will take place in Göttingen, Germany, from December 16th to 18th, 2019.

This event is the fourteenth in a series of annual workshops that have previously taken place in Madrid (2006, 2007), Barcelona (2008), Ghent (2009), La Laguna (2010), Coimbra (2012), Madrid (2012), Barcelona (2013), Zaragoza (2015), Paris (2016), La Laguna (2017), Padova (early 2018) and Coimbra (late 2018). Its goal is to bring together young researchers working in geometry, mechanics and control theory and to offer a platform to present the results of their research to an international audience.

There will be three courses

Geometry:
Daniele Angella (Firenze):
Cohomological and metric aspects in complex non-Kähler geometry

Mechanics:
Gabriella Pinzari (Napoli):
Some application of perturbative theory to the N-body problem

Control:
Dimitra Panagou (Michigan):
Multi-Agent Control for Safety-Critical Systems

as well as contributed talks. The deadline for sending us abstracts and for applications for financial support is September 30th 2019.

Further information about this event is available at the website:
