This is the first announcement for the workshop "Young Perspectives in Algebraic Geometry II" (YPAG2) to be held at the University of Bayreuth, April 3-5, 2019.
The main purpose of YPAG2 is to gather people from Germany and across Europe to present and discuss the research that young algebraic geometers are currently undertaking.

Some limited funding is available for young participants, provided by Foundation Compositio Mathematica and ERC TADMICAMT.
The deadline for funding request is: 15 February 2019.
