This is the first announcement of the second workshop "Women in Homotopy Theory and Algebraic Geometry", to be held 20-22 March 2019 at the Freie Universität Berlin. We are pleased to have

• Natàlia Castellana (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona)
• Frances Kirwan (University of Oxford)
• Sarah Whitehouse (University of Sheffield)
• Susanna Zimmermann (Université d'Angers)

as invited speakers. We would like to encourage all female mathematicians whose research field is related to homotopy theory or algebraic geometry to submit a proposal for a contributed talk or poster by 31 October 2018.

Anyone who is interested in the topic is welcome to attend, regardless of gender. This workshop is funded by the DFG priority program 1786. To register and for further information, please visit the workshop website:
