This is the first official announcement for the fith edition of the "CATS series", in Lisbon, from September 26th to October 5th 2018. CATS is a series of conferences focused on categories and stacks in geometry, topology and algebra. The previous editions were held in Nice (2001, 2003), Pisa (200 and Luminy (2012). This time, the event starts with a 3 days advanced school, followed by a week of conference. Informations can be found on the conference web page:

Registration is open and can be done online. Financial support is available (but limited) and can be requested during the registration.
