This is an announcement of a Spring 2016 MSRI program, "Differential Geometry." This semester-long program will focus on the following main themes:
(1) Einstein metrics and generalizations,
(2) Complex differential geometry,
(3) Spaces with curvature bounded from below,
(4) Geometric flows,
and particularly on the deep connections between these areas. The Programmatic Workshops are as follows:
January 14-15, 2016: Connections for Women: Differential Geometry
January 18-22, 2016: Introductory Workshop: Modern Riemannian Geometry
March 21-25, 2016: Kahler Geometry, Einstein Metrics, and Generalizations
May 2-6, 2016: Geometric Flows in Riemannian and Complex Geometry
