Dear Colleagues:
This is the first announcement for the Fall 2018 semester "Varieties: Arithmetic and Transformations". This program is part of a series of research oriented Simons Semesters at the Banach Center in Warsaw, Poland.
This semester-long program will focus on group actions, arithmetic of varieties, and parameter and moduli spaces. Applications for visiting positions are open, and must be submitted before March 1, 2018. For more information and to apply, please visit the webpage https://www.impan.pl/~vat/
As part of the program, two schools and workshops will be held as described below.
