Dear all,
this is the second announcement for the 26th edition of GAeL which will take place in the University of Strasbourg (France) from Monday 18th until Friday 22nd of June 2018.
The senior speakers will be:
- Paolo Cascini (Imperial College London),
Birational Geometry in any characteristic
- Melody Chan (Brown University),
Algebraic and tropical curves and their moduli
- Ben Moonen (Radboud University Nijmegen),
Mumford-Tate groups and Motivic Galois groups
Accommodation for supported participants will be provided from the 17th June to at most the 23rd June 2018. Without any promise, you can apply for the reimbursements of your travel costs if you are not supported by your university.

The deadline for applying to participate with funding is Friday 16th March 2018.
The deadline for applying to participate without funding is Friday 25th May 2018.
