Dear Colleague,
This is the first announcement of the VI Iberoamerican Meeting on Geometry, Mechanics and Control, to be held at CIMAT, Guanajuato, Mexico, from August 13th to 17th, 2018. The conference is the 6th event of a series of biennial meetings that started in 2008, and this edition will honour our colleague and friend James Montaldi.
