Dear colleagues,
this is the first announcement of the conference "Geometry and Representation Theory of Algebraic Groups," which is dedicated to Friedrich Knop and Peter Littelmann on the occasion of their 60th birthdays.
It will take place in the Physikzentrum Bad Honnef, close to Bonn, Germany, from 5th - 9th March 2018. The invited speakers are
Michel Brion, Vyjayanthi Chari, Corrado De Concini, Michael Ehrig, Evgeny Feigin, Jacopo Gandini, Yael Karshon, Masaki Kashiwara, Hanspeter Kraft, Bernhard Krötz, Martina Lanini, Domingo Luna*, Nicolai Reshetikhin, Petra Schwer, Catharina Stroppel
There will be two lecture series
Kari Vilonen - Geometric representation theory of real Lie groups
Shrawan Kumar - The Littlewood-Richardson cone for Kac-Moody algebras
and a poster session for graduate students and recent PhDs.
