The Young Topologists Meeting 2016 will be held at the University of Copenhagen on JULY 4 - 8, 2016. It is intended as an opportunity for graduate students, recent PhDs, and other junior researchers in topology to meet each other and share their work. In addition to short talks by the participants, the meeting will feature the following lecture series.
Akhil Mathew 1 (Harvard University) will speak about restriction and induction in algebraic K-theory
Oscar Randal-Williams 2 (University of Cambridge) will lecture on diffeomorphism groups of manifolds
Nathalie Wahl 3 (University of Copenhagen) will give a general recipe for proving homological stability results

The registration deadline is APRIL 15, but we encourage prospective participants to register early, especially if they are interested in giving a talk.
We intend to arrange and cover accommodation for a large number of participants. In addition, there is funding from the NSF to offer compensation of travel expenses for a number of participants from US institutions. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer funding for travel expenses of other participants.
