KAWA 7, a Winter School & Workshop in Complex Analysis and Geometry, will be held in March 7-12, 2016 at the Institut of Mathematics of Toulouse (IMT).
The Winter School will be in Toulouse from March 7 to March 10, and it will consist of three courses:
- "Wandering domains for polynomials" by Xavier Buff (Toulouse)
- "Complex Monge-Ampere equations on compact Hermitian manifolds" by Slawomir Kolodziej (Krakow)
- "Topology of random hypersurfaces” by Jean-Yves Welschinger (Lyon)
The Winter School Courses will run from Monday, 11 a.m., to Thursday morning.
From the evening of March 10 to the evening of March 12, there will be a Workshop in Complex Analysis and Geometry in Albi (near Toulouse).
The workshop will consist in a dozen of talks. We welcome proposals for talks for this workshop. If you wish to give a talk, please send us a proposal (title+abstract) before January 1, 2016.
Everyone interested in the Winter School and-or the Workshop is welcome, and should register at http://www.ub.edu/kawa7/.
The deadline for registering is January 31, 2016. No registration will be accepted after this deadline.
There should be some funds to support the local expenses of some PhD students and PostDocs.
