29 jun 2026 - 2 jul 2026
KU Leuven, Belgium
This workshop is a part of the intensive period in Poisson geometry, before the Poisson 2026 School and Conference. The focus of the event is on field theories, higher geometric structures, and their relations to mathematical physics. Specifically:
i) BV-BFV (Batalin-Vilkovisky and Batalin-Fradkin-Vilkovisky) formalism,
ii) Generalized complex geometry and Courant algebroids,
iii) Higher Lie groupoids, their infinitesimal analogues, and their applications in physics.
The worskhop consists of 3 mini-courses (4h each) and several contributed talks, see website for the mini-course abstracts. We encourage the participation of PhD students and junior researchers.
Organizers: Miquel Cueca, Žan Grad, Marco Zambon.
Speakers: Alejandro Cabrera, Konstantin Wernli, Maxim Zabzine.
