We are pleased to announce the "XVIII International Young Researchers Workshop in Geometry, Dynamics and Field Theory". This three-day conference will take place at the Faculty of Physics of the University of Warsaw (Poland), from February 21st to 23rd, 2024. The event will feature three minicourses, a series of contributed talks, a gong session, and a poster session, all centered around the fields of Geometry, Dynamics, Control, and Field Theory.
Minicourses:
"Van est maps: The relation between the cohomology of Lie groups and the cohomology of Lie algebras" by MarĂa Amelia Salazar (Universidade Federal Fluminense, Brazil)
"Safety guarantees with data-driven controls based on Gaussian processes for quadrotors UAVs and multi-agent systems" by Leonardo Colombo (Centre for Automation and Robotics CSIC-UPM, Spain)
"Hamiltonian and Lagrangian perspectives on integrable systems" by Mats Vermeeren (Loughborough University, United Kingdom)
Grants are available for early-career researchers at the graduate student and postdoc stages.
